The Minnesota Cup, a contest designed to accelerate the development of Minnesota’s newest and most innovative business ideas, has announced the 2012 semi-finalists.

Bremer Bank will donate one dollar to 2nd Harvest Heartland Foodbank every time this video is viewed, donating up to $15,000.

Calls to Action

Have a passion for fighting poverty? The Ideas for Action Award is launching a competition to develop and promote new thinking and policies to reduce poverty long term. The deadline for receipt of letters of intent is June 29. 

Voting is now open on finalists for the Connect For Health Challenge, a contest spnsored by InCommon and The Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota Foundation. The contestants have all submitted proposals on how to improve the health of Minnesota communities by building social connections.     

The Headwaters Foundation for Justice is now recruiting for the Fall 2012 Social Justice Leadership Institute, a participatory model of fundraising for social change and building community.

The Minnesota High Tech Association is now accepting applications for the 13th annual Minnesota Tekne Awards. The Tekne awards honor those who play a significant role in discovering new technologies that improve lifestyles and impact the lives oand futures of people living in Minnesota and all over the world.
